COUNTERFEIT ALERT
Counterfeit versions of Slither exist. Check for the following common indicators before purchasing this Beanie Baby:
1. The yellow coloring on the belly of a counterfeit Slither is darker than the yellow color of an authentic Slither.
2. The counterfeit Slither is approximately three inches shorter than the authentic Slither.
3. The counterfeit Slither has a straight body with no curve or waviness. The authentic Slither has a wavy body.
4. The eyes on a counterfeit Slither are larger than the eyes of an authentic Slither.
5. The tongue of a counterfeit Slither is shorter and more forked than the tongue of an authentic Slither. There have been cases of an authentic Slither's having a counterfeit or replacement tongue attached after the original tongue became detached and/or lost.
